I'm here to help
Whether you are in crisis, feeling emotionally out-of-balance, going through a challenging life transition, or have a child/teen who is in need of guidance, therapy can offer the structure, information, and safe space needed for growth and healing. I offer a warm and genuine client-centered approach, striving to meet clients where they are now, while gaining an understanding of where they hope to go. I love the work that I do, as I have the unique opportunity to help individuals, parents, and families develop meaningful and satisfying lives. My aim is to develop a special connection with each client as we work together to balance acceptance of who you are with a push to create positive change in your life.
MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
-
Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
A directive style, aimed at examining and building awareness around behaviors that do not contribute to a quality life, and replacing them with more skillful, adaptive behaviors.
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Exploring how thought patterns impact emotional experiences and behaviors and learning to be intentional with thoughts in a way that supports personal growth and goals.
-
Rogerian
A humanistic approach is at the foundation of all therapist-client interactions. I meet each client with empathy, genuineness, and an unconditional positive regard.
